About Us
My name is Andreja Novak and I am living in a small town Domzale- only few kilometers from Capitol city of Slovenija - Ljubljana.
I have borzois since 1988, when I got my first bitch- Marizela. That time I didn't have my driving licence yet, so my father drove me almost 700 km away, to pick up my puppy. I bought her by the breeder Jovanov Dragan from Zrenjanin.That time we were still part of Yugoslavia and town Zrenjanine is near Belgrade. We called her Kim, becouse my father said, that she was behave like born movie star.She lived with Novak fammily and she had to be Kim.
First time I saw borzoi in a book "Dogs of the world" I fall in love with him. When I owned him, it was everything I ever read or heard about this breed- and much more. I found a lot of borzois friends around the world, in 1991 I started with breeding under kennel name " Ninochka's".
Two years later Slovenian Club for Sighthound was founded - and since then we have wonderfull time in Club:we have picniks, Cristmas dinners, special show every year, coursing weekends,...and it was logical step for me, to start studying for a borzoi judge. I am judge for Borzois sice October 2001 and judge for FCI X group since November 2003.
This is my first home page.I try to present all borzoi lovers, owners and breeders a small piece of our lives. Here You can se some our every day walks.
